Mathematics Achievement Academies and һƵ Reading Academies
The Mathematics Achievement and һƵ Reading Academies are professional development initiatives for һƵ public school educators. These academies enhance educators’ knowledge and skills in mathematics and reading instruction. The academies align with the latest research and best practices for teaching һƵ Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) and the English Language Proficiency Standards (ELPS). The goal of the academies is to help every student achieve proficiency in grade-level mathematics and reading.

Mathematics Achievement Academies
Senate Bill (SB) 934, 84th һƵ Legislature, introduces Mathematics Achievement Academies for kindergarten–grade 3.
Literacy Achievement Academies
SB 925, 84th һƵ Legislature, introduces Literacy Achievement Academies for teachers who provide reading instruction to students for kindergarten–grade 3.
Reading-to-Learn Academies
SB 972, 84th һƵ Legislature, introduces Reading-to-Learn Academies for teachers who provide comprehension instruction to students in grades 4-5.
The Reading Excellence Academies Development (READ) Grant
